Short History on Chicago White Sox
The Chicago White Sox is a Major League Baseball (more commonly referred to as MLB) team that is located in Chicago, Illinois. This team plays in the Central Division of the American League. There are two major league clubs that are based in Chicago, and the White Sox team is one of these two. The other major league club is the Chicago Cubs team of the National League. The last game that the White Sox team won was the World Series that happened in the year 2005 when the team played against the Houston Astros and won four games against them.
The Chicago White Sox is also one of the eight charter franchises of the American League. The team was established in 1900 as a major league baseball club. Before, the club was known as the Chicago White Stockings, which was actually a nickname of the Chicago Cubs that they will soon abandon in the future. The nickname was then shortened to just Chicago White Sox, and this is the name that will soon appear and make it to the headlines of a lot of newspapers, radio shows, as well as television shows. In present times, the official colors of this MLB team are black, silver, and white.
